Job Description

Express Employment Professionals-Farmingdale, NY is looking for a refrigeration technician who'll assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration equipment. This position is ideal for candidates with technical training who are looking to build a career in the refrigeration industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and equipment documentation.

· Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations.

· Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in a clean and organized condition.

· Provide professional customer service while interacting with clients at service locations.

· Participate in ongoing training and certification programs.

· Support senior technicians in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues.

Required Skills

Basic refrigeration and HVAC troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
