Job Title: Platform/DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong background in DevOps practices and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in software development and operations, with a proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools. This role is crucial for enhancing our platform's reliability, scalability, and performance while ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software products.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and enhancements.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ensure best practices in security and compliance.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.
Provide support for production systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to continuously improve processes.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
Hands on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
Experience with database management and optimization.
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7 10 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
Relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Solutions Expert, etc.) are a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
