Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – New Mexico

Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: New Mexico
Compensation: $105/hour - Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 8-10 days per month with 1-2 weekends on-call per month

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification via American Heart Association required
• ACLS Certification via American Heart Association required
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age and type of patient population served
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on clinical presentation and psychosocial needs
• Develop and implement individualized, measurable care plans in accordance with nursing standards
• Systematically reassess patients to monitor progress and identify interventions needed
• Document timely interventions and evaluate patient outcomes, modifying care plans as appropriate
• Participate in patient and family education as well as discharge planning coordination
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures as required
• Delegate and coordinate team assignments appropriately to ensure quality patient care
• Serve as a resource and mentor for new staff and students during orientation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
