We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our culinary team in Richmond. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and assisting with food preparation. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a dishwasher or prep cook
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety practices
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
