Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC) seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Chair of the Department of Dentistry and Director of our General Practice Residency (GPR) Program . This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of dental education and patient care in a thriving academic medical center. About the GPR Program: Our one-year GPR program welcomes five residents annually, offering a robust and diverse clinical experience. Unlike programs focused solely on emergencies, our residents provide comprehensive patient care at the Jane Booker Family Health Center, conveniently located near the hospital. Residents benefit from: Collaboration with a diverse team of dental specialists. Tailored training to address individual areas of interest and growth. Experience with operating room procedures under general anesthesia. Opportunities to schedule patients with specialists in all areas of dentistry. Qualifications and Requirements: DDS/DMD degree and eligibility for New Jersey licensure. Completion of an accredited GPR program. Minimum two years of post-GPR experience. Demonstrated leadership experience.l Experience with CODA accreditation.
