Job Summary The Registered Nurse I assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies/procedures for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating patient functional status. Schedule Part‑time evenings: 3:00p.m.–11:00p.m. or 5:00p.m.–11:00p.m. Rotating weekends. Minimum Education Completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom. Licensure Valid multi‑state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License. Work Experience 0–6 months of related experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Working knowledge of general disease‑state management processes, the bio‑psychosocial model, and clinical pathways. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently. Detail‑oriented examination of clinical and numerical data. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to care for patients, assessing, organizing, and completing patient care with consideration for age, culture, and psychosocial factors. Document the steps of the nursing process and utilize proper medical terminology. Address problems and progress toward goals, facilitating patient discharge through timely referrals and education resources appropriate to patient age and factors. Collaborate with other disciplines and support unit/hospital goals through PI and educational activities; attend in‑services, meet education standards, and complete variance reports. Decision Making Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only. Working Relationships Coordinates activities of others without supervision. Leads others in the same work performed without supervision. Provides input on performance evaluations but does not prepare or give them. Works directly with patients and/or customers, and with internal/external customers via telephone or face‑to‑face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff, frequently with individuals at Director level or above. Special Job Dimensions None. Location Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136.
