Job Summary

As a Restaurant Supervisor you are responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage operations within the clubs restaurant ensuring exceptional service and adherence to established standards and safety guidelines. Your primary focus is to ensure all operations and member services meet and exceed expectations. You will also actively participate in service during both low and highvolume periods to support the team and uphold excellent service standards.

Reporting Structure

Reports to the Restaurant Manager Director of Restaurants Director of Food & Beverage or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage

Day to Day

• Uphold Inviteds service standards as outlined in the service training program.

• Oversee the service of food and beverages to members and guests ensuring adherence to the Inviteds standards of service and excellence.

• Directly and indirectly supervise service staff to ensure consistent service quality and exceptional member and guest experience.

• Accurately execute member and guest orders and special requests.

• Assist in implementing training and incentive programs to maintain a well-trained staff focused on achieving service excellence in alignment with the food & beverage service training program.

• Review reservation books and function sheets for your shift ensuring room setups align with booking and event requirements.

• Initiate opening procedures for breakfast lunch or dinner shifts and complete the required closing procedures.

• Inspect the cleanliness and setup of rooms ensuring they are prepared for the next service or event and are ready for members.

• Document tasks and notes in the shift log to ensure effective communication for the following shift.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the al carte menu including daily features and specials.

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of all liquors beers and wines available at the club.

• Actively participate in daily line-ups weekly service trainings meetings and special training sessions as requested.

• Ensure completion of daily assignments and side work to club standards including maintaining clean sanitary work areas and restocking supplies as needed.

• Interact professionally with members and guests accommodating changes and last-minute requests to enhance their experience.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Additional Duties

• Due to the dynamic nature of the club employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management.

• Follow all company club and department policies procedures and instructions.

• Represent the companys management team by supporting and enforcing policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members colleagues and staff.

• Promote and follow safe working practices ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same.

• Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.

• Address and resolve challenges using available resources working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations.

• Support the overall efficiency of the team by collaborating and contributing to the clubs goals.

About You

Required

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the restaurant or club-related field within the food & beverage industry.

Preferred

• Preferred certifications: ServeSafe Food Handlers Certificate ABC Certification and CPR Certification.

• Completion of all food & beverage online training modules: Service Training Host Training

Bartender Training Server Assistant Training Banquet Server Training Beverage Cart Attendant Training Kitchen Employee Training F&B Refresh Training Culinary Safety Food Safety and Alcohol Safety.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand walk and perform physical activities for extended periods.

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust fumes or gases.

• Capable of climbing ladders squatting kneeling reaching grasping twisting bending and folding/unfolding as required.

• Able to lift carry push and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.

• Effective communication skills including talking and hearing with sufficient visual acuity.

Work Schedule

• Attendance requirements for this position as outlined on the weekly schedule.

• Additional hours are required to meet deadlines of the position including weekends and/or holidays.
