Email Marketing & eCommerce Specialist

Teaspressa is looking for a creative, analytical, and adaptable Email Marketing & eCommerce Specialist to join our growing team. This position serves as theprimary person responsible for Teaspressa’s email and SMS marketing efforts, supporting communications across both our direct-to-consumer and wholesale businesses. The role began with a focus on email marketing but has expanded alongside the needs of the business. Email and SMS will remain the position’s central responsibility, while the ideal candidate will also be excited to learn the broader eCommerce business and contribute across design, digital advertising, customer service, sales support, and general marketing. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to take the lead on the day-to-day execution and development of an email marketing program while gaining hands-on experience across nearly every part of a growing consumer brand. What You’ll Do Email & SMS Marketing — Primary Focus You will serve as the primary team member planning, creating, deploying, and evaluating Teaspressa’s email and SMS marketing across both B2C and B2B audiences . Our B2C communications support customer acquisition, product education, promotions, launches, retention, and repeat purchasing. Our B2B communications support wholesale customer relationships, product launches, seasonal selling, promotions, reordering, and account engagement. Responsibilities include: Plan, build, and deploy promotional email and SMS campaigns across both direct-to-consumer and wholesale audiences Maintain campaign calendars and coordinate messaging, offers, creative, audience selection, and launch timing Write engaging, conversion-oriented copy for campaigns, product launches, automated flows, seasonal programs, and evergreen content Adapt messaging based on the needs, purchasing behavior, and communication style of B2C customers and B2B retail accounts Design or assemble email creative that reflects the Teaspressa brand Coordinate with leadership, sales, creative, and operational partners to ensure campaigns are accurate and aligned with broader business priorities Support customer segmentation, targeting, and personalization Help improve lifecycle automations, including welcome, abandoned-cart, post-purchase, replenishment, reengagement, and win-back flows Develop and evaluate A/B tests across subject lines, messaging, offers, design, audience selection, and send strategy Monitor email revenue, conversion, engagement, deliverability, retention, and list growth Prepare regular performance reporting and recommend improvements Support blog and educational content related to products, SEO, merchandising, and brand storytelling Because this person will be the primary day-to-day resource for email marketing, the role requires someone who can independently move campaigns from initial concept through deployment, reporting, and continued optimization. eCommerce & Growth Marketing You will learn the broader mechanics of Teaspressa’s eCommerce business and assist with initiatives that improve acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer engagement. This may include: Supporting website merchandising, product launches, promotions, and other eCommerce updates Helping coordinate promotions across Shopify, Faire, wholesale platforms, and related marketing channels Developing concepts and creative variations for Meta and other digital advertising channels Reviewing creative performance and identifying new testing opportunities Assisting with campaign optimization and general growth-marketing initiatives Supporting sales and customer-retention efforts across DTC and wholesale channels Helping ensure that marketing messages remain consistent across email, the website, advertising, and sales communications Customer & Sales Support As part of a small, collaborative team, you will also help ensure that consumers and wholesale accounts receive timely, thoughtful support. Responsibilities may include: Responding to customer questions through ReAmaze, Faire, email, and other support channels Helping resolve order, product, return, refund, and shipping issues Directing inquiries to the appropriate team member when escalation is needed Supporting sample fulfillment and select wholesale account communications Assisting with outreach that encourages wholesale reordering and strengthens account relationships Identifying recurring customer feedback that could improve our marketing, products, or customer experience Creative & Design Support Depending on your experience and interests, you may also assist with: Email, digital advertising, social, and promotional design Early-stage packaging concepts and production updates Website graphics and product-launch assets Sales materials and wholesale communications Other occasional production-design needs What We’re Looking For The strongest candidate will be curious, resourceful, and comfortable working across multiple functions without losing focus on email marketing as the position’s primary responsibility. You may be a good fit if you have: Experience with email marketing (Klaviyo), eCommerce, digital marketing, graphic design, copywriting, or a related field Strong writing skills and the ability to adjust messaging for both consumer and business audiences A good visual eye and an understanding of how copy and design work together An interest in both the creative and analytical sides of marketing The ability to manage a campaign calendar, meet deadlines, and move multiple projects forward The confidence to independently manage day-to-day email execution while collaborating with other team members on strategy and priorities A willingness to learn unfamiliar platforms and solve problems independently Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing customer-facing content, pricing, promotions, and product information Comfort working in a fast-moving small-business or startup environment A collaborative attitude and willingness to assist in areas outside the primary scope when needed Experience with platforms such as Klaviyo, Shopify, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Ads Manager, ReAmaze, or Faire is helpful, but expertise across every platform is not required. We care more about demonstrated ability, curiosity, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn.
