Billing Specialist

Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking a**Billing Specialist**to join our**New Bern**office. Applicants should be multi-task oriented, have excellent attention to detail, have ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. The Billing Specialist's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, generating proformas; proofing, editing, and printing billing records from proforma to final bill stages in an accurate and timely fashion; and responding to inquiries from attorneys and staff. High school diploma required. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or related field is highly desirable. The successful candidate will possess two plus years' billing experience, preferably in a law office; excellent math and bookkeeping skills; and proficient proofing and editing ability.
