Production Operator

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This position involves working with collagen extraction and processing, ensuring meticulous adherence to cleanroom standards and GMP protocols.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain batch records.
• Extract collagen from raw materials and process it by molding or cutting into different shapes.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Sanitize clean rooms and manufacturing areas.
• Set up and calibrate production equipment.
• Fill and package medical devices.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of manufacturing supplies and requisition additional materials as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a GMP environment.
• Cleanroom experience.
• Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Familiar with batching, blending, cutting, and measuring.
• 2+ years in a production environment, including packaging, document control, labeling, and inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Capability to follow written and oral instructions.

Work Environment

The position is located in Allendale, operating on the first shift from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime based on production needs. The role requires working in a clean room environment with full gowning, including a hair net, mask, smock, gloves, and shoe coverings. Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift or move supplies up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
