Financial Management Analyst

Financial Management Analyst We are looking for a seasoned financial analyst who can navigate the complex funding requirements, policies, and regulations that govern our client’s resources. You will create a financial management strategy, work with project management, schedulers, and task leads to secure and efficiently allocate funding, and track and communicate its use to ensure the client’s goals are met. Responsibilities Develop financial management strategy to support client success. Collaborate with project management, schedulers, and task leads to build actionable plans for securing required funding. Provide analytical support to the client for developing well formed requirements using knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies. Ensure funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication. Work on high level naval systems and impart financial analysis expertise to the team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience delivering financial analysis and management, cost estimating, budgeting, or PPBE support to Department of War organizations. Experience with Navy financial processes and requirements development. Experience with Navy financial systems: Program and Budget Information System (PBIS), Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), NAVSEA Enterprise Digital Capabilities (EDC), NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), and NAVSEA Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA). Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook. Ability to create reports that reflect financial planning and execution. Ability to identify financial risks early and collaborate across technical teams to develop solutions. Ability to communicate financial insights effectively. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Secret clearance. Nice to Have Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command or Program Management Office. Experience supporting Flag Officer, General Officer, or Senior Executive Service (SES). Experience developing spend plans. Ability to lead cross-functional sessions and develop high quality financial briefings. Ability to mentor junior analysts or manage financial workstreams. Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DAWIA Business FM Certification. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required. Compensation Projected salary range: $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, experience, qualifications, and contract-specific factors.
