Multimedia Content Lead – Content and Breaking News Televisa Univision N+ Noticias seeks a Multimedia Content Lead to produce, edit, and distribute time‑sensitive news stories across digital platforms. The role reports to the VP, Digital News and collaborates closely with the News Director, editors, digital producers, video editors, and social media team to identify and pitch newsworthy angles and publish polished stories. Responsibilities Front‑end and back‑end content editing. Coordinate and supervise coverage of major breaking news events and daily stories. Work with reporters, digital producers, and video editors to develop a steady stream of enterprise, trend, and watchdog content. Engage frequently with visual and social media teams. Monitor traditional and social media for breaking news stories. Execute distribution and push notification strategies. Execute breaking news protocol. Write and edit SEO, social, and cover headlines; produce clean, fast, and accurate copy, headlines, photo, and video captions. Analyze digital KPIs and execute editorial strategies to meet goals. Manage relationships between different Univision Local newsrooms. Participate in editorial planning with stakeholders and offer ideas for all audiences. Be available to work weekdays, weekends, and alternative shifts. Ensure all content is dynamic, appropriate for all platforms, and conforms to the highest ethics and news standards. Guarantee best optimization strategies are applied when necessary. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience as a journalist. BA/BS preferred in Journalism, Mass Communications, or equivalent experience. Experience in a newsroom. Bi‑lingual (English and Spanish) required. Ability to make quick decisions, give clear instructions, and verify information before publication. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills; flawless verbal and written Spanish and English. Knowledge of digital trends, audience behaviors, and Latino/Latin American culture. Strong web‑producing skills; experience with digital narrative. Flexible with schedules and able to work under strict deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Desired Skills & Experience Experience with multiple formats. Ability to understand analytics trends. Eligibility Requirements Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
