Assembler

Pay Rate Low: 22 | Pay Rate High: 25

The Assembler is responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices in accordance with approved work instructions, SOPs, and quality requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role supports production activities, identifies line issues, and contributes to continuous improvement efforts.



Contract (6 Months)

Sonoma County, California
Monday-Thursday: 5am-3:30pm. (4 x10 hour shifts)


Key Responsibilities

• Assemble medical device products using small hand tools, microscopes, test fixtures, and measurement equipment.
• Follow safety rules, GMP/GDP requirements, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain clean room and controlled environment practices, including proper gowning and contamination control.
• Perform in-process quality checks and promptly report quality or process issues.
• Identify and report nonconforming materials or sub-assemblies to supervisors or engineering.
• Accurately complete production documentation and electronic system entries.
• Work with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to resolve line issues and support process improvements.
• Participate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
• Rotate between workstations while maintaining consistent quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience (medical device preferred)
• Experience working with small components, adhesives, and microscopes
• Clean room experience preferred
• Basic math and English communication skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings
