Project Estimator

Quality Design & Remodel is an award-winning home remodeler in Delmar, NY, looking to hire a full-time (M-F, 8 AM – 4 PM) Estimator for remodeling projects. Compensation is $75,000 – $85,000, based on experience. Health insurance 401(k) with 3% company contribution after 6 months Paid Holidays (including an additional floating holiday) Responsibilities: Project Estimation: Create detailed, accurate estimates for kitchen, bathroom, basements and home addition projects using Buildertrend software Site Visits: Conduct on-site measurements and assessments to ensure precise project scoping Design Collaboration: Work with our Sales team, Designers and Project Managers to develop and accurately price our projects Client Interaction: Participate in client consultations and proposal presentations Office Work: Prepare detailed takeoffs, material lists, and pricing documentation Material ordering: Place orders and create purchase orders for project materials Trades: Meet with our trade partners to help them understand the projects and provide accurate bids Project Support: Collaborate with project managers and trades throughout the construction process Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in residential remodeling Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and labor requirements Experience with additions, kitchen and bathroom renovations preferred Proficiency with estimating software (Buildertrend and Chief Architect experience a plus) Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills for client and team interactions Ability to read architectural plans and specifications Valid driver’s license for site visits About Quality Design & Remodel: Quality Design & Remodel, the Capital Region’s premier design and remodeling firm, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our award-winning team.
