Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and hold a current Ohio or Compact state nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, maintaining accurate patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must possess a current Permanent Ohio license or Compact state license at the time of submission.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the nursing specialty.
