RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as an interpreter in court settings, ensuring effective communication among judges, attorneys, and defendants or witnesses Deliver accurate and impartial interpretation of legal discussions, documents, and terminology in real-time Follow all legal and ethical guidelines governing the role of court interpreters, including maintaining confidentiality Prepare for court appearances by reviewing relevant case materials and familiarizing yourself with specific legal terminology Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements related to court interpretation REQUIREMENTS: Fluency in both English and Spanish, including excellent oral and written communication skills A valid Court Certification for Spanish interpretation is required Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures in both languages Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a courtroom environment Prior experience as a court interpreter is preferred Requirements Fluency in English and Spanish Valid Court Certification for Spanish interpretation Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures Attention to detail Prior experience in court interpreting preferred Benefits Paid per assignment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
