The successful candidate will lead multiple engineering disciplines while defining the future architecture, modernization strategy, and technology roadmap for a portfolio of applications and platforms.As a leader within our Digital Engineering organization, you will help shape the next generation of customer, dealer, sales, service, and operational solutions while building a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.If you are passionate about building exceptional teams, modernizing enterprise platforms, driving engineering excellence, and creating innovative digital solutions that serve thousands of users, we would love to talk with you.ResponsibilitiesAssociate Director, Digital Engineering is responsible for building organizational capability, developing talent, improving engineering maturity, and ensuring teams possess the skills necessary to support current and future technology needs.Strategic Technology LeadershipDefine and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of critical applications and digital platforms.Drive modernization initiatives focused on cloud adoption, APIs, platform scalability, automation, and operational excellence.Partner with business, digital and technology leaders to align technology investments with strategic business objectives.Evaluate emerging technologies and establish long-term architectural direction.Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical debt, security requirements, and platform sustainability.Digital Engineering LeadershipLead and coordinate cross-functional digital engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting applications.Oversee the design and implementation of application architecture and overall solution development.Partner with engineering teams to develop and implement a robust set of services, APIs, integrations, and reusable components that power digital products and business capabilities.Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD automation, observability, automated testing, and platform reliability engineering.Establish technical standards, architecture governance, development frameworks, and engineering best practices.Capability LeadershipLead and develop teams across multiple engineering disciplines, including:Full Stack EngineeringConfiguration EngineeringApplication DevelopmentPlatform EngineeringApplication SupportDevOpsQuality Assurance and Test AutomationProduction and System OperationsAPI and Integration ServicesTechnical ArchitecturePeople LeadershipRecruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering talent.Build an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-focused engineering culture.Establish career development plans and succession strategies.Coach managers, technical leads, and engineers to achieve their full potential.Foster transparency, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and at least 9 years of information systems/information technology experienceAt least 5 years of management experienceORMaster's degree and at least 7 years of information systems/information technology experienceAt least 5 years of management experienceORAt least 12 years of information systems/information technology experienceAt least 5 years of management experienceAdditional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
