Actuarial Transformation & QA - Actuarial Analyst III

We are seeking an mid-level Actuarial Analyst to join our team in League City, TX. In this position, you will support our modeling and/or experience studies and assumption team. This is an exam‑track actuarial role. If selected, you would be eligible for our robust and supportive Actuarial Student Program. What You'll Do: Learns fundamental actuarial principles that the actuarial analyst applies in analyzing company and industry data to prepare actuarial analyses, in accordance with the “SOA Code of Professional Conduct” and the Actuarial Standards of Practice. Prepares summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to home office and field management, other American National departments, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators. Learns processes and begins to perform and document actuarial analyses promptly and accurately. Learns and begins to use spreadsheets, databases, and sources of data used in actuarial analyses. Performs actuarial valuation by updating valuation models, reflecting new assumptions and data. Prepares for and progresses in the SOA examinations through on‑the‑job and home study. What You'll Need: A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background is required. 2 or more actuarial exams, including Exam FM and P. Preferred Experience: Any actuarial‑related internships. Excellent communication and time‑management skills. Career band: P2C.
