Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' psychosocial needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices. Implement evidence-based interventions and therapies to address mental health challenges, promoting wellness and resilience. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards. Collaborate with a dedicated treatment team to discuss progress and adjust care strategies as needed, ensuring a cohesive patient experience. Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate complex emotions and decisions. Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest advancements in mental health research, techniques, and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary client focus includes individuals dealing with terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers. You will play a crucial role in providing emotional support and resources that enhance the quality of life during challenging times, ensuring that patients feel understood and enabled to cope with their circumstances. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. A valid LCSW license within the state of Washington is essential. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting. Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy and a solid understanding of trauma-informed care approaches. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities to inform clinical decisions. A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Experience Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation policies. Previous training in specialized therapeutic modalities and interventions.
