School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (Slp)

TactStaff Education is hiring a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite opportunity in New Mexico for the 2026–2027 school year. This position supports middle school students in a collaborative educational setting where you’ll make a meaningful impact on communication, language, and academic success.

Position Details

• Full-time, onsite
• 2026–2027 school year
• Middle school caseload
• Competitive pay: $62–$68/hour DOE
• Travel stipends available for eligible travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language evaluations, therapy, and consultation services
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Maintain accurate documentation and Medicaid billing (as applicable)
• Support students with speech, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to maximize student success

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist License
• New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) certification
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
