Registered Nurse Labor and DeliveryRegistered Nurse providing labor and delivery care in a community hospital setting in east Gallup, NM. This role focuses on comprehensive maternal and neonatal support, documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure high-quality outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor and deliveryMonitor maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and assist with pain managementSupport physicians and midwives during deliveries and surgical proceduresEducate patients and families on birthing process and postnatal careMaintain accurate and detailed patient documentationRespond to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertiseCollaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomesQualifications:Valid RN license in the state of New MexicoBachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and DeliveryCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationCurrent Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CertificationStrong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
