Why You’ll Love Working Here Mission-driven, community-focused organization Opportunities for professional growth and development The ability to make a meaningful impact in behavioral health services What You’ll Do & Bring As a Behavioral Health Medical Assistant, you will support providers and care teams by delivering patient-centered care and maintaining efficient clinical workflows. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care including intake, vitals, screenings, testing, and injections Assist providers with exams, procedures, treatment plans, medication refills, and prior authorizations Manage internal communications and respond to patient and team inquiries in a timely manner Support laboratory processes, including specimen collection and communicating results to patients Assist in maintaining provider schedules and supporting clinic productivity goals Participate in daily huddles and collaborate with care teams to prepare for patient visits Provide translation assistance when needed for verbal and written communications Maintain logs, records, and reports in accordance with department standards Ensure medical supplies are stocked and available for clinic operations Perform emergency procedures in accordance with approved protocols Adhere to all organizational policies, clinical guidelines, and confidentiality standards Perform additional duties as assigned within scope What You Bring: High school diploma or GED Completion of a Medical Assistant program from a state-approved school (Certified or Registered preferred) At least one year of experience in healthcare or behavioral health Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records systems Preferred: Bilingual in Vietnamese or Spanish Ready to Make a Difference?
