Nurse Practitioner-Clinical Team LeadAspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for Nurse Practitioners to partner with us in providing quality medical care to patients throughout the United States and around the world. Today's opportunity will allow NPs alongside fellow team members in delivering the utmost competent care with compassion to the patient population located in Pima County AZ.Citizenship: All Aspen Medical staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship will not be available.Requirements:Master's degree in nursingGraduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)License:Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of ArizonaCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsBe certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor (Mental Health First Aid America certification or equivalent)Occupational Health qualification or significant experience (Certifications may be obtained through and sponsored by Aspen Medical)Qualifications and/or experience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatmentExperience:Minimum of 3 years' clinic management experience in remote locationsExperience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment. Must have strong emergency medical/trauma care skills and have proven occupational health qualification, or equivalent experience in a construction and/or industrial environment site settingPost Graduate Occupational Health qualification or significant experienceKnowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)Certification:Certified in the specialty required as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)Job Duties:Implement the site-specific Operating Procedures and Policies, medical plans and protocols, facility requirements, emergency procedures, audits & inspections, quality assurance, and other medical practice management tasksConduct quarterly, bimonthly and monthly audits as requiredManage and lead the day-to-day operations of the clinicsAid in the management of occupational rehabilitation, and return to workPrescribes medications within the statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditionsNurse Practitioners and within applicable employer policies and procedures. Applies knowledge of pharmacology and evidence-based practice in selecting, prescribing, administering and monitoring the effects of drugs to treat medical conditions or injuriesUse the Electronic Medical Records Systems to ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records. Regular audits are to be conducted on medical recordsAssess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting at the clinic at a Clinical Nurse Team Leader / NP level as requiredMonitor the status of Project personnel hospitalized in regional facilities as requiredEnsure the main clinic dispensary is properly secured and a pharmacy management program is in place and implementedSupport project programs and preventative medicine activities as required, including, and not limited to health education activities, well-being programs, and mental health well-being programsPay rate details and associated work schedules will be outlined during the interview phase.
