Job Description\n Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Wound Care\n Discipline: RN\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Wound Care RN – Days | Washington\n Specialty: Inpatient Wound CareShift: Days, 4x10sWeekends: NoneHolidays: NoneCall/Standby: NoneEMR: EpicBSN Required: NoLicense to Submit: YesUnit Details\n \n Approximately 5–15 patients/day, depending on consult volume\n Typically 3–4 other RNs in the wound care role\n Acute inpatient wound care coverage across multiple hospitals\n Required Certifications / Licensure\n \n BLS\n CWON / WOCN certification\n Wound Care Certification (WCC via NAWCO) listed as required\n Common Wounds / Patient Needs\n \n Ostomies\n Draining wounds and fistulas\n Pressure injuries\n Vascular and arterial ulcers\n Diabetic ulcers\n Incontinence-related skin breakdown\n Surgical and traumatic wounds\n Skin/tissue integrity issues\n Wound VAC management\n Responsibilities\n \n Perform wound and ostomy assessments\n Manage and coordinate wound care plans\n Provide consult recommendations\n Document care and support billing requirements\n Coordinate discharge supplies\n Identify prevention strategies\n Provide patient/staff education\n Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams\n Use facility-provided phone for wound photo documentation\n \n Floating may sometimes be scheduled in advance.Equipment\n \n Smith & Nephew wound VACs\n Orientation\n Orientation includes:\n \n Multiple hospital locations\n Preceptor training\n Documentation education\n Recruiter Notes\n No prior travel experience required.
