Information Security Analyst

Salary: $137,800 - 180,800 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
• We need at least 8 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or a similar cybersecurity technical role.
• We require 1+ years of experience using artificial intelligence models to enhance SOC capabilities.
• We require 2+ years of experience writing Python.
• We require 2+ years of experience working with SOAR platforms.
• We require a relevant cybersecurity GIAC certification such as CISM, CEH, GCIH, GCDA, or a similar credential.
• We need the ability to support after-hours escalations.
• Preferred qualifications include a bachelors degree in cybersecurity.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, GCIH, or GCFR.
• We value practical knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• We prefer mastery of Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• We prefer experience working with SIEM platforms and analyzing large datasets.
• We value understanding of web application vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, command injection, and serialization attacks.
• We prefer a strong interest in continuous learning and a passion for cybersecurity.
• We value experience communicating with and presenting to senior leadership.
• We prefer strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• We value advanced technical expertise in developing security automations.
• We prefer in-depth knowledge of operating system processes and file structures across Windows, Mac, and Linux.

• We perform advanced malware analysis and extract indicators of compromise to support our threat intelligence platform.
• We develop and deploy SOAR automations to speed up internal SOC workflows.
• We collaborate with our Data Science team to build agentic capabilities.
• We work closely with our Security Intelligence team to improve prevention, detection, and threat-hunting capabilities.
• We optimize alerting platforms by developing rules and tuning existing detection logic.
• We act as a team lead, mentor junior analysts, and serve as a key escalation point for other SOC analysts.
• We carry out QA duties to ensure thorough analysis and documentation.
