Description – Responsibilities Awaiting You

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory analyses, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Examine results for reliability, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure optimal functionality of laboratory instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Facilitate specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Document laboratory procedures with precision, mentor new staff or students, and support the maintenance of quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a recognized equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your time with us.
