The ideal candidate is hands-on, responsive to tenant needs, and experienced in property management, leasing, and basic maintenance coordination. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the property Serve as the primary point of contact for residents Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling Assist with leasing, move-ins, recertifications, and tenant files Collect rent and maintain accurate records Help ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and property policies Conduct property inspections and maintain curb appeal Address resident concerns professionally and promptly Work closely with ownership and management staff Qualifications Previous property management experience required Affordable housing experiencerequired(Section 8, LIHTC, HUD, or similar programs) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage tenant relations with professionalism and compassion Experience with rent collection, notices, and basic compliance procedures Computer proficiency including email and property management software Bilingual English/Spanishrequired Strong leasing and lease-uppreferred Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and self-motivated Professional but approachable Comfortable working in a diverse community Able to handle difficult situations calmly and respectfully Detail-oriented and organized Benefits Competitive compensation Housing Stable long-term position Supportive management environment
