The Project Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, materials, labor, and time requirements. This role plays a critical part in securing profitable projects and ensuring financial success from pre-construction through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine scope and requirementsPrepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdownsEstimate costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor servicesObtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotationsDevelop competitive bid proposals and tender documentsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clientsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering optionsMaintain up-to-date cost databases and pricing recordsAssist in contract negotiations and project budgetingMonitor project costs against estimates and report variancesQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred)3+ years of experience in construction estimatingStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulationsIf you are interested, please submit your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Express Employment Professionals Defunct
