This is a benefits eligible position. Employee will perform work involved in the planning, preparation and cooking of school breakfast and lunch. Perform other kitchen operations including cleaning, washing, serving food, storing food and other routine manual duties related to preparing and serving food. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and cook school breakfast and lunch meals. Perform other kitchen operations such as cleaning, washing, serving food, storing food. Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness. Assist in fulfilling customer orders and requests accurately and quickly. Work as a team member in a professional and positive manner. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. Qualifications High school diploma required. Food preparation experience preferred. Serve‑Safe Certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly; occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to perform physical work efficiently, with long periods of standing, twisting, and bending. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
