Warehouse Worker Needed at Instrument Distribution Company on First ShiftPlease apply and can start within the same week of applying!Shift: 9:30am-6:30pm (Monday-Friday)Location: Pinebrook, NJPay: $19/hour; Overtime: $28.50/hourJob DescriptionThis role focuses on picking and packing musical instruments and related products in a warehouse environment. You will use a computer-based inventory system and RF scan gun to locate, pull, and prepare products for shipment, as well as assist with loading and unloading trucks. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.ResponsibilitiesReceive picking orders and accurately locate products using the inventory computer system and RF scan gun.Pick musical instruments and related items from designated locations and verify that the physical product matches the description on the sales order.Pack products securely and neatly according to company standards to ensure safe shipment.Prepare orders for shipping, including labeling, organizing, and staging products for carrier pickup.Locate and transfer products for daily sales orders, ensuring all items are accounted for and correctly documented.Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, handling products with care.Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse.Work collaboratively with a team of approximately four people to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.Essential SkillsExperience with picking and packing in a warehouse setting.Ability to perform order picking accurately and efficiently.Ability to load and unload trucks safely.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate an inventory system.Experience using an RF scan gun or RF scanner for inventory and order processing.Attention to detail to ensure products and sales orders match correctly.Reliability and consistency in following company standards for shipping and packing.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience working in a warehouse environment handling musical instruments or similar products is beneficial.Familiarity with general inventory processes and stock handling.Comfort working in a small team and contributing to shared goals.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple orders at once.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Montville, NJ.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
