Role Snapshot

Title: Electromechanical Maintenance Technician
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday (4:00pm - 2:30pm) with overtime as needed

Why This Role Matters

• Ensure scheduled production starts on time through precise equipment setups.
• Reduce downtime by partnering with operators and rapidly troubleshooting root causes.
• Elevate asset reliability via PM execution, major mechanical overhauls, and approved modifications.
• Protect people and product quality by following safety procedures and GMPs.

What You’ll Tackle

• Set up production equipment to run scheduled production.
• Work with operators to identify issues; troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and motor systems; complete required repairs.
• Read technical manuals; document changes and setups for future reference.
• Perform necessary repairs and major overhauls on packaging equipment.
• Verify electrical/motor functionality and configuration.
• Execute preventive maintenance; assist with design changes and implement approved equipment modifications.
• Follow approved procedures, safety rules, and GMP standards.
• Provide coverage across shifts when needed; operate well independently and on a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ mechanical experience in high-speed packaging/manufacturing ; food industry background highly preferred.
• Associate’s in electronics and/or Electrical Diploma/Certificate with 3+ years’ experience, or 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.
• Willingness to work different shifts (days, afternoons, nights) as needed.
• Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-changing environment; detail orientation and problem-solving strength.
• Excellent grasp of Health & Safety and Lockout procedures.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.
• Customer-focused mindset; collaborative team contributor.
