Job Summary: The Imaging Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic x-ray and CT images in accordance with physician orders, ensuring patient safety and adherence to all standards and regulations. They support clinical workflows through image acquisition, quality control, and system management.

Responsibilities:

• Generate diagnostic-quality x-ray and CT images of specified body areas as directed by physicians or radiologists.
• Apply proper radiation protection measures to safeguard patients, staff, and self.
• Operate EMRs to generate, process, and complete exam orders efficiently.
• Perform and analyze quality control data to maintain accuracy, precision, and equipment performance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by conducting equipment checks, cleaning work areas, and monitoring regulatory compliance.
• Transport patients and assist with positioning for imaging procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Complete a JRCERT-accredited radiological training program or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration in Radiography (R.T.) and CT or willingness to obtain CT certification.
• Hold a valid Iowa Radiologic Technologist Permit to Practice.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in PACS systems and image transmission.
• Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
