We are currently looking for a Jr. Credit Analyst or Credit Analyst I to join our Commercial Real Estate Credit Administration team. (Level of Jr. or I will depend on candidate's education and experience.)

Job Summary

The Credit Analyst supports the Credit Administration team by assisting with administrative tasks, spreading financials, reviewing third-party reports, and helping underwrite the bank's simpler loan products. This is an entry-level, developmental role designed to build core credit skills with strong guidance and support from senior analysts and management.

What You Can Expect To Work On

• Administration/Reporting
  • Prepare and order appraisals for all the loan products and monitor completion.
  • Responsible for uploading and managing financial statement ticklers.
• Analysis/Due Diligence
  • Review borrower financials, spread and complete analysis within Sageworks.
  • Review appraisals and analyze real estate performance.
  • Assist in completing market, borrower, and portfolio analysis as needed.
• Underwriting/Loan Reviews
  • Responsible for underwriting the IRA product and less complex residential construction loans and less complex CRE transactions that are under $2mm in loan size and less than $10mm LTOB with senior analyst and management support.
  • Assists as needed with the analysis of more complex CRE and residential LL&D transactions
  • Assists senior analysts with completing annual reviews and other relationship level analysis.
• Customer Service
  • Address inquiries or issues within a timely manner.

What You Offer Us

• Bachelor's degree or other formal education preferred (with a focus on business, finance, risk management, or other similar area)
• One to three years' experience in commercial real estate underwriting, commercial loan underwriting, construction administration or other related experience is preferred.
• Some knowledge of commercial real estate lending, regulations and compliance is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and provide excellent internal customer service
• Credit and background checks will be required.
