Our OEM client is seeking a skilled Back-End Developer as they are investing in a next-generation digital platform that brings together data, analytics, and operational insights into a unified experience for a mission critical program. This team is leading a high-visibility modernization effort focused on application development, data integration, advanced analytics, and AI-driven capabilities to improve operational effectiveness and decision-making.

This initiative centers around developing applications that consolidate data from multiple sources into a unified user experience. Team members will contribute to application development, data integration, analytics, reporting, and user-facing enhancements that improve efficiency and support informed decision-making across the organization. What You Will Do

· Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React.js for front-end development and Python and node.js for back-end services.

· Build and deploy applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and successful solution delivery, aligned with agile principles of teamwork and transparency.

· Write clean, testable, and efficient code with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, maintainability, and comprehensive documentation to support long-term development.

· Integrate APIs and microservices to support enterprise-grade applications.

· Work with SQL databases to design, query, and optimize data storage solutions.

· Implement best practices for version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and other DevOps tools.

· Leverage knowledge of AI technologies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to enhance application capabilities and workflows.

· Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and agile ceremonies.

· Work in a highly regulated, security-conscious environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Pay ranges from 60-80/hr based on qualifications and years of experience

Skills and Requirements

• prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7+ years’ experience

· Demonstrated proficiency in React.js, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

· Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

· Demonstrated understanding of front-end development, including responsive design and modern JavaScript frameworks.

· Prior experience with back-end development, including RESTful APIs and SQL database integration. · Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

· Familiarity with AI technologies, including RAG, NLP, and related frameworks.

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, define technical direction, and drive end-to-end solutions.

· Understanding DevOps methodologies and best practices.

· Demonstrated deep technical curiosity and the initiative to dive into complex challenges.
