ABOUT US:

Our Access Improvement team is growing! We are looking for a Physician Scheduling Builder to join our existing team. This team is responsible for the creation of physician scheduling templates within EPIC. We utilize a self-service ticket call center approach, and work with the various physician practices within our organization to fulfill their requests.

This role is ideal for an individual that has worked in healthcare, has EPIC familiarity in some capacity, and with secretarial, scheduling coordination, or contact center experience. This is NOT an Information Technology (IT) role.

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

Performs template creation, modification, and maintenance in Epic to support patient access and provider scheduling. Partners with departments to implement effective scheduling solutions while ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. Provides technical expertise in template building and serves as a key resource for template-related changes and configurations across the health system. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

• High School Diploma. AA/AS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field preferred.
• Four (4) years of clinical/healthcare operations experience required. Experience with healthcare systems. 
• Demonstrated template building experience. 
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of medical scheduling. 
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder requests. 
• Proven track record of follow-through and project completion. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Microsoft Office proficiency preferred. 

 

Additional Information

Please note, this position is primarily remote but will require periodic in person attendance at our facilities for training and meetings. 

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-4:30
