Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Brooklyn, OH – Sam's Club #6305, 10250 Brookpark Rd, Brooklyn, OH 44130-1106 $17.00 - $25.00/hr Full time Position Summary Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing warm rotisserie chicken. They wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure freshness and quality. Associates also assist members with bakery orders, maintain a clean environment, and contribute to a positive purchasing experience. What You'll Do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate effectively with teammates, and be flexible to support other areas as needed. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications, plan future production, adhere to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines, manage inventory, operate and sanitize equipment, and understand product layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to improve sales and the shopping experience, use handheld technology to make production decisions, and encourage adoption of new tools. Be an Owner: Drive performance of the area, manage high exposure and expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, and assist customers according to company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, executing basics at a high level of quality, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, use the Open Door Policy, and apply action plans within business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners, and recommend ways to improve opportunities. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser‑quality food products. Ensure shelves are clean, temperature control is maintained, and products are arranged to reduce shrink and damage.
