Our AS9100-certified Pressure Transducer division specializes in the design, manufacture, calibration, and repair of pressure and temperature transducers for high-reliability applications, including aerospace, military, industrial, space, and deep-sea environments.
What You’ll Do
- Perform high-reliability soldering for electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, including strain gages.
- Assemble and inspect electronic assemblies to IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
- Work from wiring schematics, parts lists, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
- Apply potting compounds to assemblies and connectors to ensure rigid support.
- Use microscopes for assembly work over extended periods.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain strong communication throughout projects.
What You Bring
- Proficiency in electrical wiring and soldering.
- Experience with surface mount technology and assembly.
- Familiarity with schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Mechanical knowledge and basic machining experience.
- IPC-J-STD-001 certification preferred.
Additional Information
- This position is on-site at our North Tonawanda, NY facility.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of our contracts and compliance with federal regulations.
- This is a full-time, hourly, union position.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (weekday overtime and occasional weekends as needed).
- Pay: Starting at $23.80 per hour.
