Essential Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair HVACR equipment.
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and industrial customers.
- Maintain and repair refrigeration units.
- Discuss heating or cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.
- Diagnose refrigeration malfunctions.
Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Universal certification, required

- Working knowledge of the following:
- AC/DC electrical refrigeration/HVAC equipment components
- Large refrigeration equipment
- Rack systems and associated condensers and evaporator configurations
- Cold storage buildings
- Walk-ins
- Small refrigeration equipment
- Ice machines
- Reach-ins
- Commercial refrigerators
- Primary heating & cooling HVAC equipment
- Boilers
- Chillers
- Heat exchangers
- Towers
- Equipment troubleshooting, maintenance tasking, and installation requirements
- Secondary heating & cooling HVAC equipment
- AHU’s pumps
- Fan coils
- Water source heat pumps
- Equipment troubleshooting, maintenance tasking, and installation requirements
