Finance Project Manager

Overview CGS is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to provide oversight of financial and procurement services for a large Federal agency initiative. This role is full-time and based in New York, NY. The base pay range is $74,741.33/yr - $96,096.00/yr. Employment Type: Full-Time, Experienced. Responsibilities The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing processing workflows in the Office of Financial and Procurement Services. Performs and oversees financial and procurement services. The Project Manager will have frequent contact with Government Case Managers and other DOJ agency staff. Ensure processes and procedures are followed. Overseeing a small team of financial analysts. Performs an active quality assurance role to ensure high quality work delivered on time. Trains staff on entering and updating data in proprietary databases. Qualifications At least four years of progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience in financial systems. Proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys. Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical support activities simultaneously. Expert knowledge of Finance Systems including SAS; outstanding writing skills; excellent oral communication skills; and excellent management skills. Knowledge of the Government's data processing environment, including office automation networks, PC-based databases and other applications, and internet/server-based databases and other applications. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance. Must have an undergraduate degree. Law degree desirable.
