Overview
Registered Nurse – Radiology (Travel) in Rochester, NY. Start date 06/22/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay $2,601–$2,755 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 10-hour days. Setting: hospital-based interventional radiology department in a Level 1 Trauma center.

Responsibilities
- Provide pre-procedural nursing assessment and preparation for interventional radiology patients
- Deliver post-procedural recovery care and overnight observation for IR patients, including those boarding overnight
- Monitor patients undergoing imaging-guided procedures (CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, ultrasound) and manage telemetry as indicated
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care across inpatient and outpatient populations
- Apply critical thinking and effective communication to identify changes in patient status and respond promptly
- Support GI postprocedural care when applicable and coordinate with procedural teams as needed

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (ONLY)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- At least 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Education: graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN status in New York
