The Data Analyst is responsible for structuring, exploring, and analyzing data to support business decision‑making across multiple functions. This role is a part of the Integrated Supply Chain team and partners closely with business stakeholders to translate questions into analytical outputs, including curated datasets, reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses. The Data Analyst ensures data accuracy, usability, and clarity, enabling stakeholders to derive actionable insights from data.What Will You Do?  In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:  Structure, clean, and prepare datasets from multiple sources for analysis and reportingPerform data exploration and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insightsDevelop and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholdersTranslate business questions into analytical approaches and clearly communicate findingsValidate data accuracy and consistency across reports and analytical outputsDocument data definitions, assumptions, and analytical methodologiesCollaborate with data engineering and analytics engineering teams to improve data availability and reliabilitySupport ad hoc analytical requests and deep‑dive analyses as neededScope & ImpactWorks across one or more business domains or functional areasSupports operational, tactical, and strategic decision‑makingExercises judgment in selecting analytical methods and structuring datasetsInfluences business outcomes through insight generation and clear communicationRequired Skills & KnowledgeStrong SQL skills for data querying and analysisExperience structuring and analyzing datasets for reporting and insightsProficiency with BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Solid understanding of data visualization and reporting best practicesAbility to interpret and explain data to non‑technical audiencesStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skillsWhat Do You Need?  To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics, or a related field required2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related roleExperience working with cross‑functional stakeholders in a business environmentWhat Can We Give You?     At The Toro Company, we are always working to make sure our employees know just how valued they are. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is between ​$80,000​ - ​$95,000​. Cash compensation is one piece of our competitive total rewards package. You may be eligible to participate in an incentive program, which rewards employees based on individual and organizational performance.
