Class A CDL Flatbed Driver

Truck Driver
A Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another. Their job duties include loading their vehicles, abiding by traffic laws and ensuring safe unloading and delivery at their destination. Drivers report to Logistics Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements required
- CDL driver must have clean MVR & Criminal Backgrounds
- Capability to secure and haul oversize loads in a timely manner
- Comply with all safety, DOT and OSHA guidelines
- Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment
- Load, Unload & Secure Construction Equipment either manually or with the use of a Forklift
- Properly track and document log sheets
- Perform Pre Trip inspection before every trip
- Knowledge of Flatbed with dovetail ramps
- Ability to handle physical workload in various climates
- Report to the designated Strack, Inc. office or headquarters each workday as required. All project transportation or driving assignments, if applicable, will begin from this location.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule (Some Saturdays required as well as out of town travel)
- Required to pass Pre-employment drug screen

- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
- Must be willing and able to travel out of town, and/or out of state to work on job sites.
- Must have good work ethics: Be on time, Work hard and Willing to learn.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pay high degree of attention to safety and promote a safe work environment.
