Litigation Paralegal

Riley Riper Hollin & Colagreco, a premier Chester County Real Estate and Land Use law firm located in Exton, PA is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our firm. The successful candidate will primarily serve as paralegal to our litigation team with additional coverage of our land use and zoning attorneys. The ideal candidate is one who takes initiative, communicates clearly, demonstrates consistent attention to detail, hits all of their deadlines, and is known to all as the “go-to” person. This position does include a billable hour minimum. Key Responsibilities Document & Pleading Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses. Court Filings: Manage electronic court filings (e-filing) in state and/or federal courts while ensuring strict compliance with local rules and deadlines. Discovery Management: Coordinate document production, organize exhibit indexes, manage electronic discovery platforms, and log medical records or depositions. Case Management: Maintain physical and electronic case files, track critical deadlines on the master calendar, and schedule depositions or hearings. Trial Preparation: Assist attorneys with trial binders, witness preparation, exhibit organization, and in-court logistical support. Client Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel for routine updates. Qualifications & Skills Experience: [4–6] years of solid civil litigation experience in a law firm setting. Education: Paralegal certificate or degree Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management/e-filing software.(Coyote and IManage preferred) Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
