As a Swim Instructor , you’ll teach students of all ages and skill levels in a positive, encouraging environment. No previous teaching experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive paid training to help you become a confident and successful instructor. What You’ll Do Teach swim lessons to children of all ages and abilities, from Babies & Me classes through advanced swim levels. Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment where students build confidence in the water. Follow the Small Fish Big Fish Swim School teaching philosophy and training methods. Demonstrate and assist students with proper swimming techniques, including safely lifting and supporting young swimmers when needed. Promote water safety and help prevent accidents by maintaining a safe, supervised environment. Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and families. Administer first aid when necessary. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pool facility. Assist with special events, community outreach, and water safety education. Schedule Requirements Qualified applicants must be available to work: A minimum of two weekday shifts (3:45 PM – 7:30 PM) A minimum of one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM) Your schedule remains consistent from week to week, making it easy to plan around school or other commitments. Starting pay: $15.00 per hour , based on qualifications, following paid training. Paid training — no prior experience required.
