Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Sign-On Bonus Eligible: Up to $15,000! UHS Binghamton General Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated Surgical Services team. In this essential role, you will provide safe, compassionate, and efficient perioperative care, supporting exceptional patient outcomes across the surgical continuum. The Operating Room RN is responsible for protecting, promoting, and optimizing patient health throughout the perioperative experience. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and adherence to professional nursing standards while fostering a caring, patient-centered environment for individuals and their families.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours per week
• Shift: Day rotation

Compensation Range: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours.

Education/Experience:

• Minimum Required: A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

License/Certification:

• Minimum Required: Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
• Preferred: CCRN
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.
