As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Position Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.07 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sunday 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, directions, and general inquiries while supporting a professional and welcoming environment. Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel, following post instructions, and completing assigned reports related to security‑related activities. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
