Landscape Maintenance - Mowing Team Leader

As a Landscape Maintenance - Mowing Crew Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for our clients. Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew to perform lawn mowing, edging, and general landscape maintenance for residential and commercial properties
• Operate and maintain power equipment such as mowers, edgers, blowers, and trimmers
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges using appropriate tools
• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, and edging around flower beds and walkways
• Plant seeds, bulbs, flowers, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs, and apply mulch as needed
• Remove debris from driveways, walkways, and parking lots
• Assist with landscape installation projects, including mulch and flower installation, tree and shrub planting, drainage solutions, irrigation, landscape lighting, and hardscapes
• Be on call for snow removal during the winter season, with overtime pay for snow removal activities
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including working outdoors in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to required work hours
• Willingness to learn all aspects of lawn maintenance and landscape installation
• Experience using landscaping tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and chainsaws
• Driver's license preferred

Compensation

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour for landscaping work. Snow removal activities are paid at 1.5x the regular rate (up to $37.50 per hour).
