Why consider this job opportunity Opportunity for competitive compensation packages, including a base salary and 401K match Flexible work hours and an open PTO policy Work remotely from anywhere in the USA Engage with a transparent Executive Leadership Team Contribute to the development of innovative renewable infrastructure solutions Responsibilities Assist in daily trading execution and administrative tasks under the VP of Trading & Risk Analyze market performance and develop fundamentals-based price forecasts for ERCOT & ISO-NE Gather and analyze market data to optimize battery energy storage system (BESS) trading strategies Deliver training on trading procedures and ensure compliance with operational protocols Track and assess market rule changes in ERCOT and ISO-NE to evaluate their impact on trading strategies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science preferred) Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, with a preference for power settlement experience, especially in ERCOT and ISO-NE Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to draw conclusions from complex datasets Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python, SQL, and PowerBI Familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS) #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTrading #RemoteWork #CareerGrowth #CompetitiveCompensation We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
