SEEKING PASTRY COOKS
_$500 SIGN ON BONUS! __Hourly pay based on experience-up to $16. _
We are looking for pastry cooks to join our team. cooks in producing a broad range of pastries and baked goods. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and will be able to handle challenges tactfully. This person should be a good listener, must have strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively work with a diverse staff. Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in English and have a mastery of culinary terminology.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Preparing a wide variety of goods following established recipes
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, including surrounding areas
- Cleaning and maintaining pastry equipment
- Maintaining a current recipe book
- Working at events when needed
- Assisting with main kitchen prep list when pastry prep is complete
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Stand, bend, and stoop repetitively for an entire shift in various work conditions
- Must be able to work flexible schedules to include nights and weekends
- Professional appearance
