Groundskeeper/Laborer – Temporary Position

Duration: Temporary; approximately 3 months

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Groundskeeper/Laborer to provide grounds maintenance services at a residential community in Colorado Springs. The successful candidate will keep the property clean and well maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Grounds Maintenance

• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the property, including playgrounds, office facilities, and dog parks/stations.
• Sweep and blow parking lots, sidewalks, and entries.
• Pressure wash sidewalks, community buildings, and resident homes.
• Operate power blowers or use brooms to clear leaves and debris from first-level rooftops, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Ensure the work site is cleaned up after each task.

Qualifications

• Previous groundskeeping or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Experience with power blowers or pressure washers is a plus.
